Also Category:Hauts-de-France photographs taken on 2023-12-07, Category:Hauts-de-France photographs taken on 2023-09-04. There are exactly three such daily categories for Hauts-de-France, each containing a single photo, each with no parent category, two of them invoking a nonexistent template. Normally we don't make "by day" categories any more local than a country (except for things like the individual days of a multi-day event). I say delete these cats and place the photos in the corresponding "France photographs" categories, if they are not already there. Jmabel ! talk 03:23, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
- Most definitely, and unfortunately there is a large amount of misuse of the template to make local level "... taken on ..." categories. Definitely some value in updating guidance to stop the generation of such granular, low level categories. — billinghurst sDrewth 04:14, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
